How to Download TikTok Sounds as MP3 (Full Tutorial)

June 11, 2026

Sometimes you don't want the video — just the sound. A trending audio you want to use in your own TikTok, a snippet that'd make a great ringtone, or a song you can't find on Spotify. Here's how to grab the MP3.

Step by step

  1. Find the TikTok with the sound you want.
  2. Tap Share → Copy link (the link to the video itself works fine — you don't need the "Use this sound" link).
  3. Open snaptok.org/tiktok-downloader.
  4. Paste the link. When the preview card loads, tap MP3.
  5. The audio downloads — usually 30–60 seconds long, 128–192 kbps.

Use cases

  • Set as a ringtone — on iPhone, import the MP3 into GarageBand, then share as a ringtone. On Android, drop the file into your Ringtones folder.
  • Edit your own TikTok — re-import the MP3 into CapCut or InShot.
  • Build a sound library — useful for content creators who reuse audio across platforms.

Quality note

TikTok stores audio at around 128 kbps. SnapTok extracts that file as-is — we don't re-encode, so you get exactly what TikTok stored. If the original sound is a Spotify-quality track, expect a noticeable quality drop compared to the streaming version. For licensed music, buy it from the artist's official store — that's the right move for both audio quality and the creator.

Copyright

The same rule as videos: personal use is generally fine. Distributing audio you don't own — especially if it's a copyrighted song — is not. If you're a creator who wants to monetize, use sounds from licensed libraries (Epidemic, Artlist) or TikTok's commercial music library.
