Is SnapTok safe to use?+
Yes. SnapTok runs entirely over HTTPS, requires no signup or app install, does not store the videos you download, and only fetches public content from the source platforms.
Does SnapTok contain viruses or malware?+
No. SnapTok is a web app — there is nothing to install on your device, so there is no executable that could carry malware. Files downloaded through SnapTok are the original MP4 streams from TikTok, Instagram, etc.
Does SnapTok track me?+
SnapTok uses standard analytics to count visits. It does not require an account, does not log your IP beyond the seconds needed to process a request, and never stores the URLs you paste.
Is SnapTok safe on iPhone and Android?+
Yes. SnapTok runs in your mobile browser. Apple's and Google's browser sandboxes protect your device from the page itself, and SnapTok never asks for camera, location or contact permissions.
Does SnapTok keep the videos I download?+
